TRANSBOUNDARY RIVER BASIN EUPHRATES-TIGRIS: INTERNATIONAL LEGAL REGULATION

Countries all around the globe have shown a strong desire to restrict utilization of international water channels for non-navigational uses since they are important human civilisation. This is avoid issues that may occur because usage purposes bodies such as rivers and streams. research covers narrow scope, which limited legislation addressing use effectively settle disputes, cover lawful watercourses. It also provides an overview transboundary interactions in Euphrates-Tigris River basin, followed by discussion key topics. From standpoint law, this study discusses connections among Turkey, Syria, Iraq regarding their shared water, Euphrates Tigris. Finally, paper concluded must review its entire policy identify flaws, including irrigation methods, dam maintenance, management resources standards. Iraq's deviation from these matters constitutes violation obligations it bound treaties, particularly framework agreement. concludes evaluation internal projects built on Tigris adds significantly resolution issues.
